...It is rather annoying, but the sim (CFS2, at least) was so OPEN SOURCE, or was cracked, that it made up for it. It is an amazing level of code. The 1% airfiles are/will always be a classic! And "They" are supposedly listening a bit more.

They are no dunces with flight code though!

But NO, you dont get to talk to the development guys, even a LITTLE BIT. Grrrrr.

It IS a competition, and UBI had a lot to do with CFS3 falling on its face so to speak, ill bet. Im betting they will both be good, but I will always look forward to the 1% airfiles.

NO ONE will have P-factor (torque) that will satisfy me, it looks like. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

Oh, I have nothing against their products really, but their attitude and the support are for the birds

Small Town Vs Big City! Thats all it really is. After this, they may think twice about not putting in carriers.

-Ooops, CFS4 is already Beta. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/59.gif

Haven't heard a word about CFS4 yet...except that it may be a helicopter sim. But who knows what they'd do...if they would try WWII again or not.

Still its the big business production line...you cram your products out the door and a few of them make you big money. You then throw lots of money at that product...

With Maddox and lesser extends 1C and then UbiSoft you see a more focused approach. They know they can make a good game if the game is relatively on time (and not delayed by a couple of years) and of high quality. When you have a few less dollars to spend I think quality generally goes up...

So far, the general consensus is that MicroSquash is a tangible evil, just like the Lord Darth Vader.

is it me ? or is Microbill perceived to be like the agents in The Matrix..

I think that film was about Uncle Billy and Co... they're everywhere - they control everything (computerish anyhow) - they have this virus (the human rebels) that they are always a step behind - they want to dominate the earth.. yeah - I'm pretty sure that move is all about Mr.Softie

I suspect a few MS folks are going to school in this forum.

First, competitive intelligence. The sim business is tough (and fickle). It takes courage to point to your target and openly discuss your plans and limitations.

Second, somewhere in the MS complex someone is probably trying to adapt their FMs and map technology. Listening to hardcore users is probably a good way to decide what to tweak.

I think the people in this forum might be called "hardcore."

There is only Winning!

...Flight sims are some of the most advanced sims to play (apparently), so the market is limited to the "upper end". Its just Chevy Vs Ford, for the most part. Im a HARDCORE 1% "whinner", but I liked what I saw of Ill 2 sturmikov. This looks incredible also. CFS4 will be good, Im SURE of that too!But no carriers? Insane. Im guessing that its more USAAF, and (Hope to god)AVG. They would be insane to leave out the AVG, as it looks to be an "army sim" until they get the ADD-ONs commin' in.

Man, No P-factor/Torque? Thats Insane also!

Im glad to see that ALTITUDE isnt an ARGUMENT in THIS sim! My god,I could tell you Ubi's stories you would not believe... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/1072.gif Oh lord, Im ramblin' now.... 9 months till new computer and counting....
