Every time I call myself a horse it's the same old sloppy driving Appaloosa that thinks water past it's knuckles is going to ruin his perm and refuses to take clear directions from my joy stick. It's not just the clunky controls for the horses that bugs me but... I find Appaloosa's... well boring as a horse breed. I think it would have done a better service for a Paint http://i.oodleimg.com/item/2546233816u_2x424x360f_horses_in_mc_allister_mt/?1351731649, Native American's preferred The American Paint horse or Pinto. I think if an update came out giving at least the most common horse for Natives back then it would help the authenticity a little. Not to mention more then two horse breeds when you whistle could make it a little more interesting when they trot up for me to mow down some red coats.

LOL WTF - I wouldn't care if i was riding a Shetland Pony as long as it responded to controls & could step down a 1ft high ROCK .

This thread actually made me laugh out loud :)

Honestly though, if there are horses in the next game I really hope they work on the controls. The horses are so jerky in movement, and like someone already mentioned they can't jump down from a 1 ft rock. If Connor can have so many animations, I'm sure we could spare a few just to make riding a horse not so painful haha

Why can't the horses climb in the trees? Connor can! What the hell, Ubi?! But seriously, the controls for the horse and it's ability to jump off a rock is kinda nonexistent. I want to jump cliffs, dammit!
