View Full Version : Infamous 2-esque Level Editor?

I've felt for a while now that something along the lines of a level editor has been missing in Assassin's Creed. Maybe Ubisoft has shied away because it'd be either too difficult to program or they feel it would somehow ruin DLC sales, but I think it'd be an awesome addition. Having an option to browse through "levels" players have made would be great- it wouldn't even have to be levels, it could just be assassinations.

I feel it could work easily as extra assassination targets- the player takes an NPC, assigns them as a target and puts them in a location, then modifies the NPCs who appear around them, militarized zones, maybe adds in a few props like hiding places or gunpowder sections. Constraints like "don't be detected", "don't kill anybody", or "kill such and such also" could be enabled. I personally know that it'd keep me playing Assassin's Creed 3 for a lot longer, and games like Hitman are certainly doing it well enough. Any opinions?
