Ever since Ubisoft started their war against PC gamers via UPlay their games have gone down the drain on a technical level. The stories and characters are great.

Sad but true...
This new "state of mind" they have choosen only prevents me purchasing games...

Guys,

Uplay is like Steam? - it's a content delivery system, which allows you to play on multiple PCs, download updates automatically and earn free content?

So I can't see what's wrong with it, it's not DRM - all games are one time activation [same as other systems basically] ?

However I can see you have already made your mind up..

I'm not a Ubi fan boy, but I don't have any issues with Uplay. What's wrong with Ubi wanting to have their own content delivery solution? Ubi have got a huge catalogue of games and some of the best franchises on the market. Ok admittedly the quality of their PC ports can be a little hit and miss from time to time (GR:FS I'm looking at you!) but I generally feel that the majority of issues get patched (I like the autopatcher, think it's great to have).

So guys don't just jump on the band wagon and start dishing out abuse to Ubi/Uplay. I'd much rather have Uplay installed and continue to play their games, rather than Ubi decide to abandon the PC market altogether. All the big software companies will probably have their own content delivery systems in place over the next couple of years. No company is going to want to get left behind by their competitors.

I have nothing against UPLAY its exectly like origin but at least i expect it to work proparly and it does not unfortenly

i used allmost every kind of browser but no change still Error ofc when i buy games no error what so ever and all is smooth hehehe

i did call at the correct hours but like i said im not complaining jusr afraid...when they double charged me i gave my friend a copy as a gift so no harm done and i do nopt really care if its special ED or pre order ED i do expect that if they declair somthing than follow it to the letter
SO i donno what is "made your mind up" im fine with this problems but i do fear for any future purchases(i wish to purchase ghost recon but im holding myself)

P.S. Werewold_GB whats wrong woth beeing a UBISOFT Fan boy? i love there games ,plots ,story ,graphics etc one of the best companies out there for games...
BTW EA or Microsoft are not better or worst the diffrence is in the games basivly same service level which is fine and sufficent we didnt buy a car or a house you know :)

but still i have my fears.

okay I'm going to say this as calmly as possible... I WAS FRAGGIN CHARGED TWICE FOR MY GAME. I just got some bill online two days ago saying I bought the game... Again FOR THE SECOND TIME! I bought the PC version in October from Ubi-shop and already filed a ticket. I have never been more mad at a respectable company about anything before. I was overdrafted by $37 and I won't see a cent of that ever again. UBISOFT- YOU NEED TO FIX THIS PROBLEM. NOW.

I've purchased mine on September, but I'm yet to get my copy of the game...
So, 50€ to Ubisoft's well filled pockets and an empty "My Games" section on Uplay...
And this is how they want PC piracy to end...GL with that...

Ubisoft is as at least better than EA. At least Ubi gives some creative freedoms to it's developers, unlike EA who turn all their studios into mass-production factories that produce the same bland rubbish with a new label every year.

I think I might get a refund completely. This is just ridiculous.

For order issues you need to contact Ubishop support - they are the only people able to look into issues.

Payment is normally taken just before release, so please check your bank statements etc - they may have charged at the time of order, however this is refunded in some cases, if the order is months before release.

They then take a payment closer to release, if that fails, it can result in canceled orders, so worth checking online.

So, it may look like two payments have been made, however sometimes it's just one - however please do check yourselves to be 100% sure.

If you have paid, or paid twice, you need to contact Ubishop support [not normal support] - who can then refund etc as needed.

The links below are to the shop support - and may contain a phone number - if you have urgent requirements - remember though, call charges may apply!

and to think this was my first PC game since 2005. Well Ubisoft you ruined it for me, you completely ruined it. Thanks for making PC gamers feel like an afterthought.
I'm sorry you fee like that, however order issues, are something that happen - and it's something that could happen with any game on any format.

I can only suggest you get in touch and see what happened.

Well this is basicly the problem in a nutshell.

Ubisoft catering to BEEP gaming consoles(oh come the BEEP on and realise this isnt the future of gaming, its on the PC) making the game SECONDARY for the pc. Its just completely dumb!

2nd is them wanting their own Steam. THats even dumber. Noone is going to like you for wanting your own cheap version of steam. Let me tell you the sole reason i dont play the very expensive battlefield 3 anymore, i uninstalled origin. And once i am done with Assassins creed 3 i WILL uninstall Uplay, and i will not ever play it again due to having to install Uplay again.

I really dislike this mentality of all gaming companies wanting their own steam. No gamer likes to have 3+ platforms open for games. Its just annoying.

Every one should be scared of buying ac games. If you want to play offline you can do that for free.. They don't even care about their customers. I had never seen so much problems with multiplayer on other games.. And here most of people who pay money, can't even enjoy full game. And they just start telling you that it's your problem. They creat a product and they forget it already, scammers.
