hi, i have preordered AC3 deluxe edition at ubishop for 64 euros, then the deluxe edition got updated to include the season pass + AC3 sound track ( instead of the best soundtracks from Assassin's creed Series),no mention to extra multiplayer characters, the price got updated to 74 euros ( question: do i still get all the new stuff despite preordering the deluxe edition before it gets updated for a lower price of 64 euros ????)

the interesting part is :

check this: if you try and pre-order ac3 deluxe edition for pc at ubishop, the basket shows 4 items:

They will ask you to cancel and place a new order even though their policy says no refund on digital products.
Long story short, they will redirect you to their retailer whom have no clue what their product contains so you may aswell get ready to pay a more expensive season pass and learn your lesson for the next time you buy a product oh i mean preorder a product from ubisoft.

Yes the benedict arnold missions are PS3 / console exclusive. PC is not a console though.


It's exclusive to the PS3 console - so it may never see the light of day on other consoles.. PC is not a console.

That's the official word from the Game team.. so take it as you see it :) .

Game devs have said so and it's there - so assume you get what you see :)

but my order summary doesn't show AC 2, does it shows up after release of the deluxe edition ( assuming that you get to download the package as a whole ) ?

Well then your stuck with either canceling your order or add extra money for the season pass. Or place a ticket to your retailer and hope they answer before release :)

On some forum, maybe this one, I read a notification that someone was sent via email, it said that the deluxe was updated to include more content and the person will be receiving this extra content at no additional charge even tho they paid the earlier price.

Apparently some people did receive such an e-mail but since not all of us did, we can't really trust it'll be the same for everyone.

Well either you wait and roll the dice or you send a ticket to support. Im heading to my friends house tomorrow to give support a call and tear them a new one because this is the worse customer support i've ever had to deal with.

I think that only one version of a digital deluxe edition exists, that's what makes sense to me. They decided to change the contents, but if you had already paid for it then they had to honor your order.

Yet the swedish ubishop asks us to cancel and place a new order, so apparently its different rules for everyone

so in the end you better contact them. Do you really think they know what theyre doing?

I think they're only causing people to lose money by re-ordering the same product in that situation. It is obvious they have no clue what's going on or what they are selling.

Lucky one, when i bought my Deluxe Edition I didnt had anything more in my basket beside Assassin's Creed III Deluxe Edition (after i buy it, it disapeared from shop)

But can someone confirm if we will get Season Pass with Deluxe Edition from Ubisoft Shop ??


Ps. i got response from Ubisoft support about content od deluxe edition and they said that couple days before PC release date will post updated version with more content in it as it is in other shops ex. steam, gmg.

Yes. support answer to me 4 days ago, but nothing changed about Deluxe Edition on Ubisoft Shop page, whole the time you get "Product not available" and now can't get any response from them why updated Deluxe Edition still not appeared in shop.

It's most likely in the process of being done, like I said, I will see what I can find out.

However - it;s always best to check directly with the retailer - for your own specific order.

I would like to confirm that is it true there will be two versions of Deluxe Edition ?? One with Season Pass and one with extra mission ??

I read about it here or other forums and can see people agry after read it, so would like to know if this gossip is true or not.

this is the deal atm, i was in contact with them over the phone a couple of hours ago. Theres still nothing certain, some american wrote that atleast his account had an upgraded DDE version.
Ubi management had a meeting trying to sort this out.
So in the end nothing is certain and its based on your retailer as shade wrote.

i was supposed to get an email with the conclusion of this meeting but didnt get anything.

Heh, so nothing changed, ACIII should be released any minute now but as always we dont know anything.

And now people who order Deluxe Edition, dont know what version will get or if Ubisoft will upgrade it after they will say anything about it.

Maybe i can shed some light on this, but dont shoot me if it ends up differently, im just passing the message.


Ok just like a lot of you, i got concerned when i see the new DDE with the season pass, cause i ordered the DDE as soon as it was available (after cancelling my freedom edition). I got a reply from ubisupport where they stated that "all digital deluxe editions will include the season pass". The conversation is unfortuantly in dutch, a language only 20M speak, so dont know if posting it here will help you. when i check my order history, it still says "AC3 DDE for €65", so i dont have problems there either.

If it turns out they were lying and my DDE doesnt include the season pass, i can use my query against them, so i hope it will work out for me

In here (Poland) people from ubisoft support act alike they don't know anything about Deluxe Edition, as whole the time people get diferent answers from them.

So for now we get two answers :
1. There will be two diferent versions of Deluxe Edition
2. There should be only one version (and maybe you will get free upgrade without pay more)

Those of you who ordered the Digital Deluxe Version a while ago from the Ubishop - when it did not have the Season pass, Soundtrack or the new Benedict Arnold DLC - may have noticed that the current version for sale does contain the extra content, however at a higher price..

Many of you found this unfair, so Ubisoft has put in place a means to correct this for you:

In order to recive the updated versions content - you MUST directly contact Ubishop support as soon as possible to make sure you get access to the content.

Please contact Ubishop Support with your order details and make it clear you wish to have the updated content including the Season Pass etc.


If you do not contact them - you may not get it - so PLEASE make sure you contact them.


Ubishop support are standing by to issue extra content codes to those of you who preordered the version without the season pass etc - for NO extra cost.


I know it does mean you taking a few minutes of your time to contact them directly, however it will ensure you get the same content as everyone else!

If you have already been upgraded - and have it confirmed - you should be OK - however if you are worried - please check.

Ps. its about 3 days before release date in Poland, but still dont get any emaila regarding that my Deluxe Edition were upgraded!

Reopen the ticket and ask them to reconfirm you will receive the code for the new content - just to be 100% sure.

You can direct them to my post if you wish, so they know, you know it's an option ;)



Some people maybe already upgraded - but it's not an automatic process according the the information I have, so to be safe, I wanted to post that you should check.

He will tell you to contact them anyway if you want to be sure

I just got answer from support about update my order, but they write that can change it on time i will receive email that I can download my copy of ACIII, and before that they that can't do anything about my order.

So thank You one more time for help with Deluxe Edition and season pass + extras :)

got a reply too (so quite fast actually), but nothing new. he stated that every deluxe edition has the content as stated on the ubishop, so thats with season pass. and if stuff is missing from my order i have to contact them again.

How can you see you have a season pass? is it mentioned in uplay? (i have never played a game with season pass before)

as i have Preordered the old AC3 deluxe edition back in July for 65 euros on ubishop emea (europe,middle-east, africa), there has been said that i have to contact the support in order to get the new deluxe edition for free, i have contacted them five times in arow but no asnwer. the game has been released for a couple of days and i was waiting for a reply for my questions or the codes so that i can download the game, ONLY TO FIND AN ORDER CANCELLATION NOTIFICATION SENT TO MY EMAIL THIS MORNING, i am very disappointing and have the feeling of being robbed off

I'm sorry but only Ubishop support have access to your order information and the reason it was canceled.

If funds where unavailable on the day they wanted to collect the payment, that is one reason why orders are canceled - however for your personal reason, you need to talk to them, sorry.
