Dear Champions,

In step 3 of this event you submitted a bunch of suggestions for us.
After selecting a few good ones from every country, we sent these to the devs and here is the shortlist they want you to choose from:

This creature deals retaliation damage before attacking creatures deals its combat damage. (If attacking creature dies, it doesn’t deal damage.)
This creature can attack and move each turn.
Whenever a spell or fortune card is played, this creature deals 1 damage to opponent’s hero.
As long as this creature is in play, your opponent plays with his hand revealed.

Whenever a spell or fortune card is played, this creature deals 1 damage to opponent’s hero  .

This creature can attack and move each turn NOO  . Is a magic air card.

Voted for 1, but 3 was also tempting.

Opponents hand revealed is bad thing for Neutral ;)

In an entirely different topic, I like the "mystery card" theme at the first post. What about using it while opening booster packs? Could be cool to reveal cards one at a time.

I don't know, just an idea.

This creature deals retaliation damage before attacking creatures deals its combat damage. Some good defensive units are needed! :) Even if they are killed they do damage first, that is important.

voted for 3, because its a unit that allows combo and not to much dependant on stats

Option 3 in current meta, would be nice.

retaliation! Since it was my idea.
But fun aside, IŽd love to have a blocker against those high damage low health Inferno Units!

Why are people voting for option 1, it's so plain. Half the creatures in the game are immune to retaliation damage.

Voted for 3.

the people voting for option 1 (aka the smart people that know what the game needs ) know that a 0/4/x creature with this power would solve almost all aggresive inferno problems .
I am sure they might not make the stats this good , but it will give a precedent to make such a creature one day , and finally have an out to those hellish juggernauts and juggernaut Upgrade.
also , even a card with 2 retaliation if cheap enough would solve the problems of 4/2 2 cost assasin .
so it's a nobrainer to be voted for :)

also , being plain doesn't make a power bad , most of the best powers in tcg's are plain at first glance , and most "flashy " powers are overrated powers that rarely see competitive play :P

retalation feature would be uber for haven deck players to counter inferno. We need a card vs inferno, cause now they nuke everybody off. :)

3rd option should be [Whenever a spell or fortune card is played by opponent, this creature deals 1 damage to opponent’s hero.]
It will be useful to count otk deck with lots of resource fortune combo. Otherwise, it will be used with those fortune combo to creat another undefeatable deck..

I see most people have voted for retaliation damage to be dealt before being attacked.

This is stupid, how is that considering retaliation damage then? Retaliation means to retaliate, you can't retaliate against something that hasn't attacked you first. Sure, it's going to attack, but it can't be considered retaliation if this is the case.
The card ability should be renamed to 'Whenever this creature is targeted for attack, this creature attacks first" and the ability should be called Foresight.

Keep in mind folks that you might never get this card, so an op power is not welcome...

the 3 other power are Wayyyyyyyyy too strong...seriously, dont turn this game in an obvious pay to win.

thx.

Power of abilities isnt the only way to balance a card, if the ability is strong u just have to lower the attack and life of the creature or increase its cost so u can balnace it out.

there are a lot of games that have "retaliotion" before the attacker gets to deal his damage .
for example magic the gathering has first strike where a creature deals damage to the other creature before it deals damage (but when attacking as well as defending )

in this game , basically all creatures that attack deal damage before the retaliation happens , which gives a LOT of power to the attacker .
a creature with retaliation before the attacker gets to deal damage is a good way to make defensive cards and get out of this swamp of OTK decks and inferno rushers .

also there is a skill or spell in heroes VI that give creatures 2 retaliations , one before the attacker attacks and one after , so this would basically emulate that from a "logics" point of view .

1. Very nice ability, good defensive creatures are needed.
2. I find this horrible... There's already a spell that does this, I'm not sure if this is supposed to go on Neutral cards, but that would really take away from that specific magic school.
3. I particularly like this one the most... we lack some combo and specially direct damage, I think this is the type of ability that would bring us more variety to the game. [This is my vote]
4. Eh. Not all that bad, but really outshined by (1) and (3).

Looks like 1st will win. Sadly. I hoped for more interesting ability, than super retaliation. Especially because of many units are immune to retaliation, so this ability will work rather rarely. 4th, IMHO, is much more interesting. It can fully change the playing style. I imagine a unit "Blind Brother", which looks like an old prophet. But... Unfortunately, it looks like I won't see him in DoC.

The first option would be nice for a first strike ability (like in magic), but not on all of creatures, same for the second, but i voted this since there is no way to obtain it beside the Lightning strike spell ^^.

Just wonder if those, who vote for such ability consider the whole "environment" of the game? Can you imagine how sunch ability will be annoying in Siegfried deck, let's presume between two "melee guard 2"?

Please at least be carefull in polls for this creature's stats and cost.
