To me it is the Jannisary, the stupid cat eared jerk, thay're fast enough to catch you on foot and they have an unblockable attack.

Just for gameplay reasons or do story reasons count too?

Your choice.

the real bosses are easy peasy to defeat :P

The guards are just annoying. I just run away from all of them. xD

Ehh it all depends on the gaurds I'm fighting if there are any agile gaurds, then I always kill them before running.

Well, if story reasons count, and I assume Daniel Cross can be considered an enemy in the series, then I say Daniel Cross. Not that his personage is badly written, I just have a specific dislike for pathetic figures like him.

Storywise Cesery Borgia, he was way too power hungry for my liking.

That's what he was like irl too though. How he's depicted in the game is actually quite accurate (though somewhat biased).

I know but he was still a major annoyance

Cesare/Rodrigo I didn't like the fight scenes where you hit them with your sword incessantly and they are unaffected by it. I like the one hit bosses.

True even Al Mualim could be killed one hit, with the hidden blades of course.

The Borgia captains and whatever they were called in Revelations that run away...punks.

Thank god in AC3 people who run are easier to take down.

Janissaries were only annoying because of their gun attack.

The abortion/Jack the ripper doctor in serial offender in Brotherhood, that guy was evil, most other bad guys just had out of control egos or were misguided.

The Doctor was sick, but the worst part is he's playable in multiplayer.

The one I hated the most was in AC2 - Francesco de'Pazzi - I was familiar with the story of him from the movie Hannibal, so I was really excited about the mission, but it ended up being a chase which is always bad for me.

(That Doctor mission was great, I loved it).

I always liked Daniel Cross, and he is a good character... especially for the Assassin series... can't say more than that due to..........

also the least favourite character in AC series has to be Garnier de Naplouse... He was just a misguided b*****d!!! A Religious nut, thinking he was doing gods work, the way he had the mans legs broke at the knees when he tried to run off... OUCH!!!!

I hate those agile guards who chase you down and dodge your grabs...

I think my favorite was Cesare, he was a complete creep but he was one of those characters that I loved to hate.

The guy that killed his family. YEah I agree but I have to say the Pope in AC2. He was a tough old bastard.

Them too! And if you leave the area & come back later, most all the guards are back & you have to get rid of them all again.
Anything with chasing is nasty :/
