What is your favorite city spanning all the games so far?

I love Venice especially when carnival is happening.

For me, it's difficult to decide between these 5:

Venice had all those cool parkour paths that run alongside high buildings and over the canals.
Florence had this feel of a very bright and colourful city, also makes me feel nostalgic because that's where we met Ezio.
Constantinople was very tight and with lots of dark alleys, which gave a pretty unique feel.
Acre had this gritty, "just-been-pillaged" feel, also climbing the church tower is one of the most memorable things from AC1.
Damascus had this feeling of a city in the middle of a desert, very Prince of Persia-ish.

But if I had to pick one, I would probably go with Florence - its landmarks were much more majestic than all of the others, IMO, especially the The Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore. Rome was definitely the worst, it just felt... bland. The destroyed part was fun to free-run in and the Vatican was very pretty, but it lacked something.

Venice will always be, for me, THE Assassin's Creed city. It just had such a liveliness and uniqueness to it, with plenty of niches and alleyways to run through. Florence is a close second, though, since the architecture is arguably the most beautiful in the series. If I had to rate the rest, it would go something like this-

3. Masyaf- a gigantic castle and a city full of Assassins. What's not to like?
4. San Gimignano- I loved all the huge towers everywhere, and it's where Ezio killed his first Templar, Vieri.
5. Damascus- it had a very cool, distinctly desert-y feel to it, not unlike POP like someone else said.
6. Constantinople- lots of variety, very colorful, but it lost some points for every civilian looking the same.
7. Jerusalem- I dunno why, it had lots of interesting landmarks, but it never really felt fully realized to me.
8. Acre- I dunno why everybody liked it so much, it all looked the same to me, except for that one huge church.
9. Forli- the swamp territory and narrow bridges were irritating to navigate on horseback, and the city was pretty bland.
10. Rome- the huge empty wilderness just didn't work for me, and it didn't have many awesome climb-able landmarks except the Colosseum.

Monteriggioni gets an honorable mention since I don't really consider it a full-fledged city without any guards.

Florence, love the vibe there. Best soundtrack too, both the normal & battle music.

I loved the buildings in Venice but the water in the canals always looked so phony to me, way too light/neony blue.

My favourite city to approach for the first time was Damascus, love that scene/music when you descend from the Kingdom and see it for the first time.

Acre - the color and vibe of the city fitted the game perfectly with its mysteriousness

Venice - The city was very colorful at night and the music played a huge roll with giving the city feeling

Love Jersulusem, Rome was great, Constantinople actually was really nice also, so colourful.. Damascus was awesome... Most of the cities I thought were excellent, hard to pick a favourite. Venice and Rome are probably my favourite MP maps for what that's worth. (I really miss San Donato in ACR too )

Oh good question.

1. Florence... look at how beautiful the city is and so fun to climb. Accompanied by that amazing track. The best city and so nostalgic for me. It's even more amazing seeing it in person
2. Probably venice. The tone and diverse nature of the architecture. The track, once again and how alive it was
3. Rome since it's my home town and where I was raised and it was amazing to visit locations through my favorite game character. It was also amazing to climb around in.
4. Acre. It was so gloomy and dirty but it had a different style to the other cities. The architecture was awesome and it had the best assassination missions. Also less annoying accents
5. Damascus. Very prince of persia-like. Bright and lively. The first city I visited in the game series.

The rest were all amazing, I just can't be bothered to type them all out. Constantinople was disappointing and it all sort of felt the same. Soundtrack was amazing but it wasn't that fun to travel around in

I guess we have to go on cities we've played in :p

1. Rome: I love history.

2. Jerusalem: Good variety between Christian, Muslim, and Jewish Architecture.

3. Acre: Best atmosphere.

But I'm really looking foreword to the urban environments in AC 3, that one Patriot camp had more character than any of the previous cities!
