Yo guys!

I've warned you in advance; spoilers. Don't continue reading if you haven't read the achievement list and you're sensitive to spoilers, I'm also basing this on the fact that you have seen the Inside Assassin's Creed III series.

Now, first of all, remember when we first saw our image of Desmond in the Inside series? Alot of people were saying things like "Has he got a map in his back pack?" and stuff.

I was doing a bit of fishing in the achievements, and I looked closer at this image. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/game/assassins-creed-3/achievement/72093-Fin.html
So at first sight it just looks like Connor and his arrows for the bow sticking in the back.

My opinion; is this Desmond? Is that something similar to Cole McGrath's amp? And Desmond donning the hood?

Second thing I noticed.. we've seen Sequence 6 from Connor's gameplay. Which was apparently roughly when all features in the game are readily available (which is why they showed it).. Sequence 6 comes with the Achievement "Tea For Englishmen", which will be the Tea Party of 1773
http://www.xbox360achievements.org/game/assassins-creed-3/achievement/72056-Heroes-are-Born.html

This achievement, "Heroes Are Born", is this when Connor finally dons the hood? 1770, when he becomes an Assassin?

Does this mean for 4 sequences we're playing as young Connor / non-Assassin Connor? Which fits into the whole Alex Hutchinson "we've never seen anything from the first 3 hours of the game"

Well- here's my response.

That picture is probably of Conner with the arrows because Desmond's achievements have dots rather than an avatar. We know Desmond's fate- he opens the door. The thing on his back though, I doubt it will be a map, since he already does have a messenger bag, he could have just put the map in there. It's probably a weapon, since Conner uses muskets, Desmond might be equipped with a modern equivalent like a rifle or shotgun. If it works for Conner, it will work for Desmond right? I doubt it's going to be a shooter only- it's going to be far better than that, a glorious blend of hand-to-hand and firearms. It will probably make them regret not making Desmond more of a badass from the beginning.

I'm not sure about the Conner thing. We have already been through this with Ezio, so I doubt they are going to to a retread and tell the same old tale. Since sequence 1&2 are combined in the achievements, I imagine it will happen around then. Again, all speculation without saying.

However, the beginning of the each game has always followed the pattern of starting where the last left off. We know from the single and multiplayer portion of Revelations that the modern story got serious: Desmond is at the grand temple with his father and company, he has a bright blue glowing arm, and the apple, and Abstergo is sending it's operatives to capture/kill William with his percise location (grand temple) being known. I would expect the Templars to arrive at the same time Desmond exits the van- big fight, open the entrance to the Temple, and then they will set up base.

While were are on that note- I would wager that the frontier is an explorable space for Desmond as well, since they are in the middle of nowhere and Ubisoft always loves to make use of assets already created. It's also very nice fan service.

Oh wow! You're right on the Frontier theory, there's got to be one point that our Connor reaches the Temple which Desmond and such are at. Good call!

Good post, well written and some **** good theories / points made. Thanks for that.

I do still think Connor will be donning the Assassin hood by Sequence 4 (Possibly the end of Sequence 3?), I mean, we know that Connor doesn't join the Assassin's until 1770, and the game spans from 1753 - 1783. So it seems fairly likely that Sequence 4 will be his Assassin times.

Of course, "A Hero Is Born" could also be referring to someone else. George Washington first rallying the colonists amongst other people.

Who knows, eh?

Spoilers !!!!!!!

Check this:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Lee_(general)

"During 1776, forces under his command repulsed a British attempt to capture Charleston (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Sullivan's_Island) which boosted his standing with the army and Congress (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Continental_Congress). Later that year he was captured by British cavalry under Banastre Tarleton (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banastre_Tarleton) and held as a prisoner until exchanged for General Richard Prescott (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Prescott).in 1778

A ha!!!!!!

If you see the achievements there is "The Whites of Their Eyes (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/game/assassins-creed-3/achievement/72059-The-Whites-of-Their-Eyes.html)" referencing the battle of Bunker hill in 1775 and a legendary statement by Putnam.....

Then the next sequence is "Caged Wolf (http://www.xbox360achievements.org/game/assassins-creed-3/achievement/72060-Caged-Wolf.html)" could it be a hint to lee being imprisoned and then???

Treachery may have been the reason for Lee's retreat at the Battle of Monmouth (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Monmouth). While Lee had been held prisoner by the British General Sir William Howe, 5th Viscount Howe (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Howe,_5th_Viscount_Howe) in March, 1777, Lee drafted a plan for British military operations against the Americans. At the time, Lee was under a threat of being tried as a deserter from the British Army, because he hadn't resigned his British commission as Lieutenant-Colonel until several days after he accepted an American commission
