Forgive me if this has been asked before. I searched but couldn't quite find it.

So ACIII was revealed back in the beginning of March, and I remember there was a bit of talk about how cool it looked and how much longer they still had to work on it. I don't know if that actually is a long time in gave development time, though. Well we're a month out now. (Super exicted!) What do you guys think has been worked on or changed? I'm sure a lot of it is just hte regular work of finishing a game. Crunch time craziness. But do you think that there have been any changes made based on feedback from the community?

Based on feedback from the community... probably not. They didn't really interact with the community feedback wise because everything is and was, so under wraps. The only thing I can think of is multiplayer and changes to the "Assassin Claw".

The assassin claw is when you hold down the right trigger and A to run. Apparently it is a "broken" system or something? I don't know if that came from one guy in the community but thats changed. As for whats changed IN game... well....

1. Winter and Summer seasons based on sequence, can be changed at will after game completion
2. Rain and Fog is dynamic and random
3. Connor and Desmond have different movesets to each other and have different move sets to Ezio
4. Connor dual wields
5. Snow impacts Connor and enemies, thick snow imparing movements etc
6. Connor has facial expressions when fighting
7. Tree running is new in AC3
8. Buttons have changed. Free running is now just the Right Trigger or R2 and countering is now the Circle or B button. After countering you chose then to attack, disarm or throw depending on type of enemy
9. You get attacked by animals and can hunt. You sell meat and pelts to people and get more money the cleaner you kill them
10. The game time is longer than AC2
11. The main story takes up 1/3rd of total game time
12. The frontier is roughly 1.5x the size of Rome. Still in debate but definitely bigger than Rome.
13, Boston and New York are free roamable. New York only free roamable after the fire of New York.
14. You will go to different locations such as Philly but only in story missions and wont be available in fee roam
15. In the snow in Winter, Connor will rub his hands together if he is cold and will stumble loads in snow
16. Naval battles is new in AC3, you attack both sea and land based targets
17. You can now take cover around corners for corner attacks
18. You can have assassin recruits again but have a menu to decide what they should do, e.g "assassinate" or "escort". Those are just two, don't know the rest.
19. You have a "Homestead" which is a separate map from the Frontier. It is a community of people like lumberjacks, doctors etc that you level up. You can then use them to make better sails for your ship etc.
20. In the Homestead Connor pulls his hood down
21. Children are in the game and you can't kill them
22. You can pat domestic animals like dogs, even sheep! Killing them will desync you if you do it a certain amount of times. Wild animals can be killed as many times as you want but you must collect the meats and pelts to honour the death.
23. Connors health doesn't regenerate during combat. Thats what the devs told us. However many of us here have seen that it DOES regenerate in combat so who knows.
24. A new type of Chase Breaker is running through a house and coming out the other side, this is useful to evade guards
25. You can human shield people when guards are in a firing line.
26. You can assassinate and run at the same time
27. You can double counter
28. You have two sections for weapons. One is called weapons, one is called tools. Weapons is allocated to X on Xbox 360 or Square on PS3 and tools is allocated to Y or Triangle. Weapons include tomahawk and tools include pistols and bow.
29. New scrambling moves for sloped surfaces for realism
30. The game is already gold!

I think thats alot of stuff :D

I think he meant what has changed between now and then, rather than what has changed from the previous games to AC3.

Please stand up and mourn for 2 mins in the remembrance of pacmanate :D

Back on topic, Ubisoft is known for changing stuff from the announcement time to "game gone gold time". I'm definitely sure there are dozen things that are changed. Firstly, the radar was different first, and in the development phase they were deciding if they should put scalping as an option or not but then it was declined. Other than that I'm sure, there was some some that was brought up while developing the game but were scraped for some reason?

Many things get changed/scrapped near the end of development. The HUD has gone through various appearances for example. I don't know much else. I always wanna know which features are scrapped in the AC games, in AC1 for example, MANY features were removed (search up the early demo of AC1 back in 2006) these features were put back in later games

Dont think anything other than simple visuals or tweaks was changed from March...

31. You can play various board games such as checkers and participate in tournaments as well as join clubs.
32. Apparently Ubisoft say there is quite a number of features we haven't seen yet which won't be revealed until launch, when we can play it and see for ourselves.
