The structure of the brotherhood an how it works makes me a little bit confused. I'm just so curious as to how it all works. Like how do you recruit and train your assassins and stuff. Like in one of the videos posted in a thread onSept 24, I saw a wheel pop up when he ordered his apprentice. What was that all about? And I know they get to live on homestead and all but how does that work? I guess what I'm getting at is what are the differences in this brotherhood as compared to the recent games? As well as what is being kept the same? I'm really eager to know now but at the same time I don't want to spoil it for me and everyone.

You recruit the people who are opposed to tyranny I suppose. THe wheel popping up is the Assassin wheel and you can use it to command your Assassin's to do different things like being a covert escort for you or killing someone. I think they live on the community around the Homestead that you can build.

Okay so let me explain step by step :).

The wheel was the "Assassin recruit wheel", our assassins will have more then one skill now. They wont just go kill person you aim at, they may just distract them or so on. It depends on the assassin because every assassin will be different and have their own personality and skills. We recruit assassin from every district which will have their own crisis, the one shown in the demo was taxes. Another one may be poverty or illness.

The homestead is AC3's version of AC2's villa, where you can find people help them out or save their lives (what ever actually happens) and they will move into your settlement. They will have skills with them in which you can level up about 4 times, and there are 9 different skill types. You can get them to craft items and you can sell them to make money or craft items for your own personal equipment.

I kinda talked about what the difference between the assassins are compared to the other games. But we don't know what kind of equipment they will have, what outfits they will have (if any), what skills they really will have, or how many assassins we will have. What i'm interested in is seeing how we can customize them

Wait, so are the people you recruit to live on the Homestead the same as your Apprentices? Because they made a big deal about that one guy being a b-utcher (seriously, that's censored???) and he was also shown acting as an Assassin recruit, with the wheel and assassination commands and all. Is he a tradesman (i.e. one of the guys who helps out your manufacturing and trading goods) as well as an Assassin?

I'm not sure, that is an interesting thing. A *****er would be needed at the homestead and it would make sense that the assassin would live in the same settlement as Connor. I'm sure though that the *****er is a recruit because this is where the first info on the assassin recruits appear. I really want to know how we can customize them, and there is still suppose to be some secrets we don't even know about the game.

It would be cool if certain assassin recruits do get to eventually put on the white hood but not until they have reached the assassin level and only if you assign them to that role. Basically, even out of the recruits, it's a privilege and honor to be able to wear the assassin gear and kill side by side with Connor.

It is ?

I mean it would be cool if that is how it's done. Or are you saying that because you know it's already confirmed it's going to be that way? Or are you saying "it is?" because you don't think that would be a good idea?

Yeah I was just implying that maybe only a select few out your recruits would actually don the hood this time when they are trained well enough by the player. Other recruits would be used mostly for distractions or disguises. Where I'm getting at is instead of training just ten people to become full fledged assassins, you recruit a lot more people but have them specialize in other duties. Only a small group of maybe say 6 people end up wearing the assassin outfit.
