I've seen in some of the videos they have removed the 'Assassin Claw" or something. I've also heard it mentioned on here a bit, and it has something to do with the A button.

I was playing AC Brotherhood today and noticed the position my right hand was in. My thumb on the analog, my index finger in a claw-shaped position, and my middle finger on the trigger. Is that the Assassin Claw?

If so, does anyone else have this "Assassin Claw"? Quite honestly, I've just realized I have started playing every single game I have with the "Assassin Claw".

Yeah, I sometimes use it for changing the camera angle when escaping, cause lets be honest, it's kinda screwed at times. I think they mean they removed it by letting you sprint with the high profile trigger instead of pressing A as well, leaving your right thumb free on the right stick.

I think the question is if anyone else uses the claw and what it is.

Assassin Claw aka hold RT and A at the same time aka Free-Running, Parkour. With A button basically you can't do anything but now Assassin Claw is gone so you can do everything without pressing it. Meaning camera freedom, run and kill stuff. But if you wanna do unsafe jumps you still need to press it.

If you never used the claw then you probably never climbed a Building in any AC game..

My Assassin's claw is holding down the shift and space buttons with my left hand and holding my mouse with my right hand.

More like an Assassin's Hook n' Ball.

He pretty much answered his own question in the first post.

I never hold my thumb on the right analog?
I have my index on R1 and my thumb on X.

Well they said R1+X is the assassin claw.
