In case of Desmond of having "action."....Should he have a 21 first century new Assassin outfit or just keep the current one and put the hood?

hopefully just an updated version of his outfit now, but if you didn't in the first episode of the dev diaries you can see him for a brief 3 seconds while theyre watching the tv screen

Well, his outfit changed inexplicably between AC2 and Brotherhood, so I hope the same applies here. Slightly different, but nothing ridiculous.

I'd like to see a new outfit that reflects the bird look like his ancestors but I can't imagine how that would work out for in modern times.

I would like him to start with the outfit we know.... I don't want another random offscreen change. Besides, i like his current outfit, its modern, cool and it relaly is very normal y'know everyone owns a hoodie and a pair of jeans now.

He should start with his old one, but Assassins should probably not be sent into the field in jeans and a hoodie. For one, jeans aren't the most comfortable things in the world to climb and sweat in.

He definitely needs a new Assassin outfit. I hate when fan videos have modern assassins in cheap hoodies and jeans or cargo pants. He doesn't have to be wearing it all the time, but he definitely should during missions. I believe Mr. Hutchinson has stated that an Assassin putting on his uniform is like getting dressed for work, and I see no reason why that should not continue into present times.

All I am gonna say is either use the hood on the hoodie or wear a bloody jumper.

Well they wouldn't blend too well if they could be identified by the clothes they are wearing.

Did Ezio and Connor blend well? The costume doesn't have to be quite so extravagant, but it should at least be taken more seriously than some punk running around with his hood up. I'm thinking either a nice hooded pea coat or something a little more militaristic/spy looking.

Also, this is kind of relevant and very awesome.

I'm sure he'll just have his normal hoodie and jeans on. It would be kind of pointless to give Desmond an expansive wardrobe. But I wouldn't mind some small changes.

Ezio's AC2 and ACR robes blended in a little bit, and while Connors might not blend well it is understandable. But those images right there would really stand out. While I would like for Desmond to have an awesome outfit, it makes more sense for him to wear jeans and a hoodie as that is what most people wear anyway and what he wears now isn't that bad.

Yes, I mean its not like the world`s biggest Organization is looking for Assassins To eradicate..right ? right ??:p

If you give to a modern assassin a "highly advanced military infiltration outfit" for instance it would be hard to "blend". But on the other hand, it does not make sense if that hypotetical "field" outfit consists only on a hoodie....

So I guess it depends of kind of mission "you" are assigned.

Well about this pool,i dont care to much about Desmonds outfit but i would be nice to have new one ,because it is his last game

Ezio has bright white/red clothing and a cape. Nobody would ever confuse him for a normal civilian. He blends in groups and other locations so he is not seen at all...he's not trying to make his enemies think he is somebody else. That was only the case during the Crusades.

Besides, I doubt we'll be doing much "blending" while playing as Desmond. I'd assume, if anything, we'd be doing infiltration missions. If that is a factor, a peacoat with dark pants wouldn't stand out AND wouldn't be as cheap looking as a hoodie.

Holy chit hahahaha! Good job.

I honestly think it would be awesome if he replaced the hoodie with a leather jacket (with hood) and either black jeans or some sorta biker pants.

Similar to, but obviously not a complete copy of Jin Kazama

http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20111020131407/tekken/es/images/c/cd/Jin_kazama-1-.jpg

If I find better images I will edit post, but basically something similar to this. Obviously it has to be a modern design, but I think the hood is iconic and makes them look so much more badass. Ooh I should note that in Revelations my assassins kept putting their hoods down and I had to go through and put them up again manually, is this a common glitch? I gave up in the end lol.

EDIT: Sorry for huge picture lol

Also an interesting picture of Jin

Strange choice of style and colour scheme, hmm...?

Imagine something similar to this, but obviously remove the flames. Could debate whether to make it more stylized (lines and stuff) or more simplified (Desmond's clothes at the moment are very simple, except for that eagle pattern on the back, pretty much standard modern casual wear)

Since Ezio had pretty flamboyant clothes in his time as an Assassin (I mean even for his era, he stands out like a peacock) it wouldn't be outrageous to put Desmond in something a little bit flashy. Altair even was a bit styley, though he did blend in a fair bit better with the monks. It was hard to buy Ezio blending in anywhere :P So I think using the argument that "Anything more than a hoodie and jeans will be too recognisable and not stealthy enough" can be discarded. I would much rather play Ezio as he was in Brotherhood than Ezio dressed in civilian clothing to blend in, which would certainly be a more effective way to remain undetected.

I just hope Desmond buys a razor for a quick shave and is face magically changes back to the way it was in brotherhood or the previous titles. Unless for some reason ubisoft could no longer use the original model's face, I still don't quite understand why they changed Desmond's face in revelations.

It was a graphical upgrade. Everything in Revelations is darker: Ezio's outfit, Desmond's outfit, the black room; so it was probably best to get away from the (for lack of a better word) 'cartoonish' graphics of the previous two games. Why they gave Desmond such thick facial hair? Maybe to show how long he's just been sitting in the Animus or to reflect Ezio's beard?

Desmond's clothes never really mattered much to me, but I can't deny he looks really neat in a white hoodie. He most likely will wear the hood in AC3, but I can't think of an actual reason for him to do this other than it looking really cool.

I kinda like that one, but like you said, minus the flames. I don't think Desmond's going to be doing much blending in, per se, but rather just some infiltration-type stuff, probably in the dark, so it makes sense that he would be wearing darker clothing to lessen the possibility of someone seeing him out of the corner of their eye. Maybe throw on a bulletproof vest underneath it.

No. I want the old one. I wanted Desmond to put on his hood since AC2. And finally, it's coming true!! (hopefully :/)
