This will sound ludicrous but true. I don't know if I bought Il2 COD or not, I think I remember playing it and then junking it because it was so buggy. Is there some way of checking my purchases from Ubisoft?

IL2 CoD is a steam game. If you bought it (no matter where from) you'll find it in your game library when you log in to Steam. If you wan't to try it again, you can re-download it from there.

Seems I don't have a steam account , therefore I cannot have bought it. Thanks Tully. I still think I bought it and tried it; very strange!
Is it worth buying? Just got Wings of Prey and its horrible.

I think it's worth a try at this price: http://www.amazon.com/IL-2-Sturmovik-Cliffs-Dover-Pc/dp/B004L5SJ4Y/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1347363570&sr=8-1&keywords=il2+cliffs+of+dover. I think it runs OK but there's widely differing opinions on that.

Also worth a try is Rise of Flight (http://riseofflight.com/en) which uses a free2play model. Download and fly the few stock planes for free, if you want wider variety you pay per plane. It's set in WW-I rather than WW-II though, but at no cost but the bandwidth you use to download it you've lost nothing but a bit of time to try it.
