This thread is probably kinda useless but still, i just ran into the name Connor again and what it means.
Apparently it means "hound-lover" or "wolf-lover".
Kinda ironic then how he kills a small pack of wolves in Frontier demo don't you think? :p

Yeah kinda old but yes. It is also the first Assassin protagonists name that doesn't have a reference to Eagles (talking about Altair and Ezio)

I seem to recall that Hutchinson said that the game will discover the true meaning of the name Ratonhnhaké: ton.

I vaguely remember it roughly translating into "He who kicks *ss"

"He who scratches at life" is his native name's meaning apparently. But yeah, the wolf thing is interesting. They're kind of my favourite animal :3 (Massive surprise huh?)

Is that mean Connor was born almost dead like Ezio?

Yeah, they thought he was stillborn. That's why the nurses were kind of shooting looks at each other when Giovanni came in.

That's what I'm talking about. Maybe Connor had the same situation, or maybe he was badly wounded in childhood but survived despite that. And maybe it refers to his main enemy (or maybe not))
