View Full Version : assassin's creed 2 load game error

so i bought this game during the steam summer sale, game started up and i've been playing for a while, and than i just lost 2 days of game data. when i try to load up my game, it loads up "ace up my sleeve" or something like that,(an objective). I've tried finding a fix for it, but can't find one. im on pc( windows 7).

A lot of crap has been going on with AC2 after the UPlay update.

"When you start up Uplay DO NOT immediately start the game, instead, WAIT 3 - 5 minutes, this should give the Uplay client enough time to synch with the online saves, this approach has worked for me so far."

That's a quote from the second page of the above thread, made by a guy called AnthonyA85 (He said he got it from someone else, but I'm not going to bother looking for the original post.).

Hope it works; if it doesn't, scour the 1st and 2nd page of this subforum(?) for other threads like this. Some contain offered solutions.

I think the problem is the game won't load up the correct save, not that he can't complete the mission.
