I was looking at different pages and pics of all different models of the Bf110, but i never saw one with the back part of the cockpit open like in the version we got in FB. Isn't that only when the gunner opens the back window to get out? I mean, maybe i'm wrong but i haven't seen this on a Bf110 yet. The back glass should be closed like in the G2 we have.

The 110 and the desert!!!

No I think the game is correct. Look for more info/images on the earlier models. The gun would be unable to traverse with the rear canopy closed. At work now, but when at home later ill see what i can find.

I think the game is WRONG. I looked at another magazine and did some more searches on the internet. The Bf110E model we got in the sim is wrong. I haven't found a single pic of a Bf110 with the gunners glass open. They closed it in the Stuka in the Ju88, etc why should they leave it open in a Bf110. I think the model is wrong. mabe someone has a pic of a 110 with open back nut i don't think so.

The Bf-110C4s that we have are correct. It had a hinged rear gunner window that opened and closed.

Gershy see my post in your thread in ORR.

Can you tell me why the photo taken by a gunner has the canopy open? This is a combat photo as he had just shot down a Spitfire, of which he photographed. The canopy is the notched version.

The 110 had 3 different versions of gunner canopies. One with no notch as in FB, another with the notch and one with the lower frame and centre glazing removed.
