That was the UFC trailer, although I think AC had advertised before at a UFC event, I think the commerical was perfect for luring UFC fans and etc. Even my cousin who doesnt know anything about AC was like "Woah looks like a badazz game". I have seen multiple commercials on TV now. I was wrong they are advertising like crazy.

I see commericlas pretty regularly now.

Yeah I know, it's just they did not advertise for a while.

The marketing budget is that of the price of making 3 games...or it seems like it.

So far, we`v had WAY more than what we normally see at this time during the campaigning of past games.

I think it has too do with the fact that the they were silent from March towards June, so they are going ballistic with ads.

Target marketing always cracks me up xD Watch them select one irrelevant cutscene from the game where Ratonhnhaké:ton cooks some meal and advertise the game on cooking channels "The assassin didn't ignite the revolution with an empty stomach!"

Actually, cant wait for a Football *As in the actual football, not handegg :P* where they say: ''Connor did not ignite the revolution without some sports...''

Yeah I was surprised when I saw the commercial on TV, normally you don't see AC commercials until close to the release date. I guess AC3 must be really big game then, considering they still more to show in upcoming months and they even said that they will try keep at 3-4 really big secret up until the release date.

The pre-orders are 10x that of Revelations, so they want a force behind it.

There is a American Football team here call the New England Patriots, so it wouldn't surprise me if Ubisoft take advantage of that and market AC3 using the popularity of the team and the sports here in the US.

The commercial was pretty silly, but some of Connor's new fighting moves looked cool.

With the idea of trying too expand marketing everywhere, there has too be a couple of silly commercials....

Sure, but it's like RatohnhakeFan said: what's next, cooking shows? Oh wait, UbiGabe already appeared in a special episode of Epic Meal Time. Never mind. :p

Silly commercials get people attentions.

True. And it really helps as somebody who is there for the UFC, might see it and be ''Dude, that is cool!'' search it up and stuff.

It was not that silly? It was not a real commercial, more of an advertisement, It was a preview of AC3 at the UFC event VIA PPV. The commentator for UFC was commentating the moves Conner could do and some of them were MMA like moves, so that would attract the attention of MMA users watching UFC. Actually it was not like the best but it did it's job and got the attention of a couple people I was in the room with while watching the UFC.

I saw a ad during the Home Run Derby. It was the E3 trailer but with a new voice over by Connor. I haven't been able to find it on YouTube yet though. :(

Don't remember. It was halfway over before I started listening. I was in too much shock of all of a sudden seeing a commercial so early. I watch ESPN regularly so I'm sure I will see it once again.

They are going all out in the marketing because from March-June they were silent, and the game is nearing release (2 months 23 days) so we are seeing constant ads.
