So this came into my mind, what if Connors Tomahawk is a Tomahawk you buy instead of auto get? or something you earn in the story?
It popped into my head this one may be the ''end game'' Tomahawk, as in the one you earn late. Like the Sword of Altair.
Thoughts? It would be cool too have a Tomahawk weapon class.

I think that's just his first Tomahawk.

I'm interested as to what weapon type the boarding axe will fall under. Most boarding axes were like hatchets, so very similar in size to a tomahawk. Or will it be like a two handed axe, like what the Scotsmen enemy class wields?

I am not even sure if we even get multiple tomahawks, but it may be a weapon class.

Akimbo tomahawks...lol... But seriously though, it would be cool to duel wield 2 tomahawks in combat.

Isn't the Tomahawk a weapon more used by the Natives? So shouldn't Connor have one by kind of like default? I may be wrong of course and apologise if i am, but if i am right then it seems weird he would just happen to have a tomahawk in the shape of the Assassin logo as his first.

Although saying that he does join them at the age of 15 so it may actually make sense. Not sure what is the age a guy would get their first Tomahawk :P lol.

It would seem odd to start out with the tomahawk that is the most iconic to the Assassins... Then again, I guess the same thing happened with the Assassin yataghan in ACR. I'm pretty sure the boarding axe confirms that tomahawks will be their own weapon class... I can't see how they could get away with having Connor lug around a big two-handed axe on his belt. I mean, sure, Ezio could do it, but let's face it, it was pretty silly :p

Dual wielding two swivel hidden daggers would also be cool.

One blade rotates tho. You cant duel wield 2 daggers, and yes, it is a native weapon, but maybe through out the game you change them, the game wants you too upgrade throughout the course of the story too feel authentic.

i think Connor gets his assassin tomahawk when he joins the order, i suspect youŽll start out with a tomahawk, just not the one we see in screenshots an trailers

The game does start at 1753, he joins in 1770.

...That is what I said. We probably play the first 16 years with a normal hatchet.

That was determined to be a cosmetic glitch.

And yes, he'll have more than one type of Tomahawk or short axe, proven by the Boarding Axe pre-order bonus.

You probably won't be able to dual wield them though.
