This may have been posted before, and I apologize if it did, I just joined today, but Ubisoft claims they want AC 10 too see the light of day.
I was looking for the original article and cant find it, if any can find it and post it so I can add it, that would be sweet, but let me tell you what it is basically.
Ubisoft hopes that there will be a AC 10. They beleive that there is nothing such as ''not being able too annualize a series''
Nope, here is the problem: AC:R was a very...plain game. Why? the short development span. I think I rather have a game every 3 years than 1 every year. Thoughts? do you support, or not?

10 Games... hmm.
As a huge fan of the series I do not like if it would be like this.
We currently have 5 games, and it's been quite alright, but 5 more?

The annual releases aren't made in one year and they allowed the time and funding to create "big jumps" aka ac3.
I personally hope there are many more ac games.

Exploitation of the brand I would like to expulsion. As long as it was only two chapter is ok, but if this is repeated for ten consecutive years, in addition to a strong sorrow, will not see the money of many fans. And 'Needless to say, "Maybe something good comes out." No, absolutely, Taking a year out of a game you can only do something low quality.

This I hope so too, hoping they come out every 2-3 years, so they can do a good job.

I'd like as many AC games as Ubi can make. I love them and probably will never stop loving them.

i mean the story is incredible in every game, it's just that... I'm worried it might get bad, that Corey May runs out of ideas, and if they hire someone new, it won't feel like AC.

I want annual releases. I have never felt like the series was getting stale and I love each AC game.

I played Revelations and noticed right of the gate how much the short development time hurt the game. Brotherhood has that feeling too, but MUCH, MUCH, MUCH less apparant. For me at least. I really hope they dont go this route, and dont exploit AC III like they did with AC II.

I thought when they released the first they said it would be at most a trilogy?

Yeah, but they quickly saw that it was they're most succesfull game, and you know what follows.

I have a feeling this will be the last one for me. I have loved AC since the beginning but I feel like me and the franchise are both just getting too old and it's time to move on after ACIII. I sure hope it's good.

you'd do the same. so would i. As long as it doesn't turn into a CoD or, even worse, a FIFA. (FIFA has got to be the most ripped off gaming franchise in human records. the DLC in brotherhood had more changes than FIFA has added since 2005)

I agree. I think AC III is my last game, not because I got tired of the franchise, but I would like too stop at a fantastic game, rather than a diss-appointment *Revelations*

Freddie@ But when it ruins a franchise, there comes the problem.

I think they mean 10 numbered titles. Sub-series/spin-offs don't count.

10 numbered titles....
How in the name of god will that work?

Come to think of, the member of Ubisoft said, namely, that if you want could make another 10, not that he will do another 10. I do not know why the article has changed Newser creating a mess ..

The version I read said that ''He hopes so''

It 'may be incorrect, given that my interpretation was wrong. :)

I really hope this dosen't turn into CoD, with barely any additions in between. I really dont know how much they can add past AC III, as it changed so many things..
