Hi Guys,
Loving the site.....can anyone tell me which updates/patches i can download for IL2 FB. Also when i play IL2 sometimes the screen freezes any ideas what this may be?

Also how do i make a turn in IL2 without stalling...is it a case of i was going to fast?

Sorry for the bombardment of questions.

For FB just get AEP and it will patch you to 2.0, then d/l the AEP patch to get you to 2.01.

For you freezes post your DXdiag in community support.

For stalling dont pull the stick back too fast or too hard.(unless your beign chasedhttp://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif)

If you don't wish to lay out more cash for the Aces Expansion Pack (which is great value) you'll want the FB 1.22 over 1.0 patch.
Beware - the update is rather large at 116meg (it includes new aircraft etc).

Cheers

Ps - Regarding the stalls, default joystick config in the game is a little sensitive and requires a light hand. Have a look about for some recommended settings.

Think of your plane as being a roller coaster on a track - bend the turns - never pull them.

Don't make the 'car' come off the 'track'.

As to stutter - if you notice it happening when you fire your guns or when one of the other vehicles fires - then it could be soundcard related - turn off all sound extensions... or it could be insufficient RAM - these sims seem to like at least 1 gig of RAM.
