Hi, dno if this is the correct part of the forum to post this.. But anyway, here it goes.
Im gonna visit Florence, going there instead of going to Rome as im a big AC geek :o (Not saying that Rome is not related to AC)
A while back i watched a couple of vids where they said that they actually had designers visiting Florence.
And im wondering if there's anything special i would want to visit in resemblance of Assassins Creed, while im there. :)

you probably should have put this in the console general forum because it gets far more views (even from pc gamers) and is treated like more of a general ac section with the PC section being used more for bugs and things mostly. but alas.

Here are the landmarks from the game (Information taken from the AC WIKI) http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Florence#Landmarks - Any of these that are still around would likely make good sights to see :P.

Santa Maria Novella District

Mercato Vecchio
Santa Maria Novella
Basilica di San Lorenzo (http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Basilica_di_San_Lorenzo)

San Marco District

Bottega di Leonardo a Firenze
Palazzo Medici
Ospedale degli Innocenti
Basilica di Santa Croce

San Giovanni District

Palazzo della Signoria
Santa Trinita (http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Santa_Trinita)
Palazzo Auditore

Oltrarno District

Palazzo Pitti

I know which is why i was pointing out how people treat the different sections primarily so you can do the same :).

Also don't forget to take lots of pictures during the trip. Then you can compare the real buildings to the ac versions and such.

People have done similar things in the past and visited places fromr the games. Hope you have as much fun as they did :)

hey and welcome here :) i've been to Florence several times before ACII came out and i have to say, when i started the game, it felt like i was in real life Florence. it is very realistic. But i was completly amazed how spot on Venice looks!

Anyways, where are you from? Is it going to be a long trip for you or are you somewhere near Italy? :) and bon voyage!
