~S~ Anyone have an opinion on which card I should get?? The Sapphire Radeon 9600XT 128MB goes for $152.00US on newegg right now and the ATI 9600XT goes for $181.00...Wish I could go with a 9800XT or even a FireGL but my budget won't allow http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-sad.gif So, are Sapphire cards as good as ATI cards?? If so, then obviously I would save $30 and go with the Sapphire version....please help!

I have a Sapphire 9800Pro and I'm very satisfied. I don't know how to compare its OC capability but I run my core at 405 and mem at 353.

Try PriceWatch. A 9700Pro is $198 incld/ship, and a 9800Pro is $214 incld/ship.

Thnx for your suggestions everyone....Seems that Sapphire is a good card and I MIGHT be able to stretch my budget for a 9700 series http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I hace a Sapphire built 9700 Pro. Sapphire gave ATI its start in the business way back when and www.hardocp.com (http://www.hardocp.com) rated it as having better cooling coatings than the other cards tested.

If you can't afford the 9700 Pro, skip the 9600's and get a 9500 Pro.
