View Full Version : Is there still an offline single player enabled Firefight mode?

The mode where you could just choose you loadout and hunt down AI enemies on a map etc. But then you could also play it online co-operatively. Is that still in?

Sorry if this has been asked before but I aint really been following the game other than trying the Beta.

it is now called guerilla, and it is more of a wave type gameplay.
in that mode is a standard loadout and you can change it while playing.

Biggest downer is that you can only play that mode with friends from your friendlist.
there is no matchmaking to play with strangers :(

Waves? So you can't hunt them down at your leisure? They just come for you? That sounds like the last stand mode where enemies just came at you and you were defending a single spot.

It is exactly a last stand mode. There is no mode like you're describing.

Ugh. Really? FFS. Why the hell drop one of the best modes? Have they given any explanation as to this?

This Guerilla mode is all very well but it's pretty much worthless for solo offline play. Not to mention the fact that it is pretty much just last stand most of the time. They've killed one of the best things about the game and for what? This mode that you can play on a handful of tiny maps. And there's not even an ability to choose your loadout. Then there's the rest of the stuff like not being able to give commands to your AI teammates.

Have they done all this to actually try and alienate us fans of Ghost Recon? It sure seems like it.
