Lot of noob settings also are going on HL. It's just another gateway to servers.

Of course, new players come first on UBI. You were all newbies at some time no? (Hint: check at server setup, like greatergreen.com, a great server)

But i know lot of pilots playing on UBI that would be a real challenge for some of the "i'm no noob" hl lovers.

Everytime i go there, i don't see much difference. (And that's when i can fly on a server with "non-noob" settings)

You are right, not all pilots at Ubi are noobs and sometimes there is the occasional server with limited ammo. The problem is they are only there when HL is down and the one hosting with limited ammo is ME. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif

At the start of WW2 the German army lacked experienced anti-aircraft gunners. The average gunner was so bad that the USSR decided to help them out. They did it by forcing some of their pilots to fly I-153 flak magnets. These planes were slow but very sturdy. This allowed German anti-aircraft gunners to get a large amount of target practice on a relatively small number of planes. Thanks to the Soviets help, by the end of the war the German anti-aircraft gunners were amoung the best in the world.

Well you are welcome to join our server. I just flew on a FR VOW (almost, speedbar was on) mission and it just look like a typical COOP to me.

No need to start a HL/UBI war. I'm just pointing out that not all of us there are "noobs". I even dare you to challenge the best of us on full real settings. (top 6 pilots of WUAF)

Actually I had one or two of your guys drop by my server today. They did better than most of the other players. But still, the average skill level was much lower than I would expect to get at HL. Running a scripted server is a nightmare when half your pilots constantly crash on takeoff because they have never flown with stalls on before /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif .

Edit: about VOW being like a normal coop, it is with one big difference. Kills and deaths are recorded on your permanent record and will follow you forever /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif . Just kidding. It is currently in beta phase. Once the beta test is over with all scores will be reset and then your kills and deaths will follow you forever.

Edit edit: Damn my typing sucks

Who did you fly with?

You're welcome to join our plane restricted server now.. but settings may be a bit hard for you.. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

This is childish... You get the point?

Don't remember which guys, but I did see atleast one of your squadies in my server for about an hour. Also had a bunch of HL guys join about halfway through the battle.

BTW, I just like to give you ubi.com guys a hard time. Ubi has its share of good flyers, but it has more than its share of newbies and arcaders. And ubi.com software sucks.
