It may be the name of the next Protagonist?

Kwahu seems like the most likely first name of this next protagonist should it be the Native American Assassin, as it stands for Eagle.

Antinanco stands for Eagle Of The Sun. Another Possibility is the Hunter.

Altair was The Flying Eagle.
Ezio was The Listening Eagle
Could "Kwahu" be The Hunting Eagle?

It makes some sense considering that he could be a hunter that attacks his prey from above, it also ties in with the Tomahawk, should that picture be legit.
I am using these two sites to make out the possible names. I

Native American Names (http://www.20000-names.com/male_native_american_names.htm)
Hunter Names (http://www.thinkbabynames.com/search/1/hunter)

This is all based on the assumption that this pictures are legit:

Tomahawk is a throwing weapon if I'm correct? If yes then this keeps my dream of dual-wielding weapons alive :D

I like it. I'm curious about the hook blade. I wonder if it'll return in some form.

I hope so, it is quite possible, the Natives could have a lot of contraptions and the fact that they are tribal I would love to see some more Assassin Brotherhood Cooperation in game.

Might it be "Netse". Depending on different tribes of course

Haha,so funyhttp://www.froco.info/smile.gif

It makes plenty of sense considering Ezio and Altair directly mean Eagle in their respective languages.

But he's not purely native, he's supposed to be half American half native American, so it'd make sense for part of his name to be sn English type one.

Possibly a native first name then a English surname.

I looked up kwahu and it is the Hopi word fore eagle. The Hopi tribe is in Arizona, there's no way he's Hopi. I'm guessing Algonquin or Iroquois tribe, look up Eagle in those languages. I'm having difficulty finding them, but those are the likely tribal sources of our new Assassin.

The eagle must be killed only in the winter or late fall after the crops were gathered and the snakes had retired to their dens. If killed in the summertime a frost would come to destroy the corn, while the songs of the Eagle dance, when the feathers were brought home, would so anger the snakes that they would become doubly dangerous. Consequently the Eagle songs were never sung until after the snakes had gone to sleep for the winter.

this is a cherokee story and given the photo yesterday(the crop fields of corn under the sheat of snow) it makes sense that his name might be somewhere near awahili or wehali which are variations of the name and the cherokee word for eagle screams is
a-wa-hi-li ge-lu-hv-s-ga
lol had to copy and paste and i get this epic fail :D...
