Not so fast, that's the N1K1, just a revised float plane, I was really looking forward to the real 'George' N1K2. boohoo

No, that is an N1K1-J, with almost twice the firepower of the "revised float plane" and better performance than the Zero.

N1K1-J: 1000+ manufactured, served for over a year in the Phillipines, Taiwan, Okinawa, and a bit over the Home Islands before being phased out.

N1K2-J: ~half as many made, served basically only in 343 Kokutai in the last five months of the war.

When you can only pick one to include in a game before shipping time, it's going to be the Shiden. Sorry.

Both would be nice too...but I'll take the more used variant first.

I look forward to that plane.

From what I've read the N1K1-J outclassed the Hellcat and was a match for the Corsair, but arrived too late on the scene to make a difference. I'm with IceFire: give me the most used planes first.

Yeah...I've read that too. Its speed is similar, although limited to below 10,000 feet, its got way more firepower, its probably not as durable or strong as the Hellcat although its got heavy firepower so its a good match. Should be fairly even with the Hellcat at lower altitudes.

The Corsair I think is something else but it'll come down to the Corsair pilot wanting to use the verticle and the George pilot wanting to force him on the horizontal. Depends where you end up http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
