I've been playing off-line since il2 came out...now I have a decent net connection I thought I'd give it a go

I downloaded the HL sofware and set it up OK... logged in OK
I started my il2 '46 4.08m... pressed 'multiplay'...join local server...
tried to join a room... nothing happens

can someone walk this idiot through it?? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

Link to a rather recent post by Quazi regarding this topic... (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/49310655/m/4121027075?r=9241017075#9241017075)

(Basically, you should not start 1946. But start Hyperlobby, login there, choose a server, click it, join it and HL will start 1946 for you)

Have Fun!

1. Start HL.
2. Log in to room: Forgotten Battles with your HL account.
3. Choose a game in progress by clicking on one of the hosts in the list on the left.
4. A screen pops up displaying the players in the server, and the settings of the server.
5. In this screen, click "JOIN THIS GAME".

Let me know what times your on, might try to wing up if you want. 12 hours difference, if your still in Thailand.

Btw, your new, faster connection speed gives me hope if we end up moving over there. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif
