Once again...I'm in awe at the color photographs. I believe all of those are P-39D's in USAAF service? I spotted one that looks like a P-63. The second image from the left actually...taller tail and longer rear section. It may be a P-63A?

Cool, those pics could have been taken yesterday... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif Check out the one with the Santa delivering presents, the camera taking the picture is casting a shadow... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

Edit: Ooh, a really cool one of 4 guys standing in front of a P-39, holding (I tink http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif) the N1 armament, 4 .303, 2 .50, and the 37mm in thier hands. Nice!

Good hunting,
Cajun76

Just want to comment on your avatar Red...love it! Mirror Mirror is my favorite Trek episode, in particular the part where the evil Spock is threatening someone and says "And some of them are....Vulcans..."

The guy he is talking to has this horrified look on his face and you get the distinct impression that Vulcans in the mirror world are a really really evil bunch, so much so that people cringe when they are mentioned.

Awesome!

My favourite Star Trek TOS episode is "Spaceseed" and, don't laugh now, "Troubles with Tribbles" http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Best quotes from the episode Mirror, Mirror -

"Your agonizer PLEASE!"

"It is useless to resist us...we will level your planet and take what we want, that is destruction!"

"In every revolution there is one man with a vision"

Not everyone likes my sig though.. In another thread someone thought it meant I was a Neo-Nazi. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

That looks to be the "Pinball" target version of the P-63. The giveaway is the back half of the canopy covered in armor and of course the higher tail. Odd thing is I have never seen or heard of any P-63's having a 3 bladed prop.

Interesting...
