I've been using a MS Precision Pro Sidewinder 2 for about 16 years and i think it's kaput. I would like to replace with something that is very good but basic but good. I was looking on amazon and saw that the Thrustmaster T-16000M gets high marks. Any advice would be very helpful.

Thanks

I was thinking the same thing. I thought since it was sooooo old there might be something better and more current

I have had mine for almost ten years and it still works good.
A couple of months ago I was very close to getting a new type of joystick but something held me back.
When my SW Precision 2 finally kicks the bucket I will make a grave for it in the back yard.

And then I will buy another one.

Treat yourself to an MSFFB2 and find out what you've been missing all these years. For what they cost now used on ebay they're great value, and still the best stick around by miles in IMHO.
