Bob is the nickname of a friend of mine... he has no arms nor legs, but still likes to swim...

Bob also tends to be sober - in the interest of road safety.

Bob is a contraction of the name "Robert". How the heck you get "Bob" out of "Robert" I have no idea. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/53.gif http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

BoB is the short name for Olegs next sim entitled Biggles Over Broadway.

BoB is a acyronym for Battle of Britain. Oleg's next project involves recreating this period of World War II.

The basic timeline is roughly from June 1940 to October 1940 where the Luftwaffe and the RAF duked it out in the skies over England. But this is only the start...BoB is the testbed of Oleg's entirely new engine and will serve to launch us into larger theaters like Africa and the Med and all the way back to the Eastern Front and even the Pacific in several years time.

Blockbuster or Boondoggle.

Which one applies depends on if you fly Blue or Red. Sides will switch after each patch.

At least it won't have any LA-7s or Ki-84s. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Hey, does anyone else think it would be wonderful if 1C:Maddox chose to go backwards in time with the add-ons to BoB? That way you'd have all the 1940 planes, them move back to the Battle of France, the Winter War, the "Defensive War" of the 9/39 project, then back to the Spanish Civil War, then some Italian stuff in Eritrea, then back to late WW1 and finally early WW1 planes.

Wouldn't that be cool? I know the Americans would hate it, but how much do they matter, really?

Don't let it get to you mate. I must say I used to get wound up listening to some of the grief that came my way for a perfectly reasonable question.
Then I started to understand just what mind set they were using and saw some of their photographs on the other forums and knew what I was dealing with. Now I do the laughing!!
Stay cool, take it on the chin and give as good as you get. Welcome to the zoo!

Regards...Dave S.

As long as you fast rewind past the "phony war" us Americans would love it. A set of missions of the defense of Poland or the Spanish Civil War would be pretty interesting!

But, I'd still rather see something done about the entire Mediterranean.

That comment of yours shows a level of ignorance that beggars the imagination. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif

The pre-Battle of Britain, indeed the immediate pre-WWII battles (Spanish Cival War, etc.) would be very interesting to fly in, and would be quite alarming for those unfortunate enough to fly against the Bf-109s that were to make their combat debut in the Spanish conflict.
