HA! That would be fun to play from a mock-up bridge and 360 surround view.

isn't it incredible? I got my projector a couple of years ago to fly IL-2, and I've been using it for SH3 ever since it came out - my wife can't stand being in the room with SH3 up there on the wall, especially in one of these North Atlantic storms - she actually gets seasick!! This game is a whole different experience on a 100" diagonal screen http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Mine is an LCD projector, and does tend to have a slight "screen door" effect (though this Epson model was reputed to have much less of this effect, which is characteristic of LCD projectors) - the effect is sometimes a bit noticeable/distracting when I fly IL-2 (though even there it's so cool to be flying around on a 100" diagonal wall/screen that it's easy to get past it), but it is way less noticeable and not troubling at all for SH3 for some reason. If this one ever breaks, I may try one of the DLP projectors next time, just to see if they're any better, but I've been super pleased with this one and it was the only one that was touchable for less than $1,000 back when I got it some years ago.

I sometimes prefer my monitor when flying ground attack in IL-2 'cause it is sometimes a little easier to spot those tiny tanks with the sharper picture, but I play SH3 almost exclusively on the wall 'cause it's just soooo cool http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
