During the war in the East, Aircraft were rapidly painted with often a quick wash to camoflague the Aircraft on the ground during the first falls of Snow.
This wash was often applied quickly and not very accurately and soon began to rapidly wear and stain with the continual use of the aircraft from several factors,
like the effects of the weather, erosion and through maintenance and general operations.. This skin has been based on a Photo of one such aircraft and is painted
on the excellent template made by Jesters Ink, a departure for me, as I normally produce my own templates, but the quality of this one made it cry out for this scheme.
The Aircraft has been painted on the Bf 110G-2 to represent "Sierra" A Bf 110 C-4/B of 1. ZG/1 the famous Wespe Squadron as marked during the winter 1941-42.
I do hope you enjoy the skin and the weathering applied to it..

Enjoy
