Absolutely.
What a great flight simulator.
Who else provides such a sim? No-one.

Thanks Oleg and team.

I'm actually suprised at some not so good responces lately when they should do some researching before making a comment or taking a breath before making a comment.

Like one said the Ju-88 cockpit was porked. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif
I'm going like: Yeah ok what exactly is wrong? Got references to back up your claims? But no I don't see that and it's sad as I'd love to find out about the right things in life like everyone else does. SO why whine? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif

I'm just greatful for any releases we get and yes some of my wishes never have beeen made yet or even considered. Like the P-47N, yes we got the P-47(late) but it's still not a P-47N. That's ok, I unuderstood the reasons behind why it's not there and accept that. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

So like others here, THANK YOU OLEG AND GANG for all your time and hard efforts in keeping the current game alive! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif

Seeing as how it hasn't been released yet, you'd think people would reserve comments about how "porked" the pit is.

And, what's this Tempest thread, where they're already lying in wait on that plane's performance before they've even flown it in game.

Man, I thought I was critical... but then, with the history of this title, they brought it on themselves...

I understand the constraints of time and resources for 1C:MG, especially with BoB coming, and I understand that there is the possibility that no independant modelers have submitted a technically acceptable P-47N model within the deadline set by Oleg's team. Beyond that, my comprehension on the topic of including/not including US aircraft is fuzzy. I don't know the specs on P-47N -- was it similar to P-47D-40? It would be interesting to have a variant with the K-14 gunsight and HVAR loadout.

As you can guess, I'm a 'Jughead' and have been since Jane's WWII Fighters. I'd love to see one more major variant put into FB/PF, and maybe some updates to the existing P-47 cockpits if time allows ...

All wishing aside, I recognize that not all planes can be put into the sim; there are simply too many types and variants from so many different nations. I'm still learning how to properly use the ones we have! I'm very thankful for what is available and for the coming add-on which will have two planes that I've waited for with much anticipation: the Macchi 202 and the Tempest. (Actually, I wanted a Typhoon, but the long-rail rocket loadout on the Tempest makes it a nice compromise).

Come on, stigler, you don`t have to say anything. You`re grudging admiration for the obvious work Oleg makes on patches and hatred for IL2 shows through easily. I think so far you`ve picked on the fact that the lagg was lighter than it should be - looking for the negatives, but can`t see the positives.

And it`ll be the same after release.
