I had a friend in highschool who had that picture on his wall as a huge poster... it was one of those novelty posters you can get from some stores... it had a huge caption that said "****!"

I believe it's made up to look like a REAL incident from the early 1900's in Paris, Gare du Nord. I've seen pictures of that and it's what first came to mind when I saw THIS one.

Now... if I could just find that photo...
