Is there anybody planning to buy an SLI system with two 6800 Ultra Extreme cards and have some information on that sort of a system?

That painting I can use for my flight sim Cloud Whining.

mmm, two video cards two flight sim cumulonimbus. They have to do someting about FB clouds designed for Nvida GeForce 2 or whatever it was called 3 years ago.

I read that Nvidia is producing a mid-level card (6600GT?) in the PCI Express version, reasoning that more people might be attracted to ponying up for two mid-level cards one at a time and then joining them in the SLI format.

I must say that I find that idea more intriguing than going SLI with two $500 video cards. Look here:

It says it better than I can.

Nvidia claims to have the record in test. (http://www.corporate-ir.net/ireye/ir_site.zhtml?ticker=nvda&script=410&layout=9&item_id=620067)

I will probably go for the Nforce4 with SLI like this. (http://www.xbitlabs.com/news/mainboards/display/20040914021846.html)
