I've never seen that cockpit before.

Who's making it?

Give us some url links to follow.

i guess its selfmade by someone.
i personally find it stupid. looks rather like a spaceship cockpit. i mean stick to the right (not center), thousands of buttons and so on.
i stick to my x45, maybe one day with some pedals.

Yeah, if it doesn't resemble a WW2 cockpit it's usually a little much for this forum's intelligence. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

C'mon guys...free your minds! This is merely a home-built F-16 replica pit. There are all sorts of manufacturers out there that make components for them. It's like this whole underground world. Here are some links:

Some really cool stuff out there /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

There is nothing home built about it.

The plastic injection molds are completely assimetrical.

The monitor is costom made to fit the cockpit.

At best, its a custom made cockpit, following specific customer criteria.
Nothing new, but unusual, expensive and hard to find.

Here's a little enhancement i made to the photo.
I enlarged it, and cleaned it as much as i could without ruining it:

http://resev.freewebspace.com/images/cockpit-1.jpg

You'l notice that he has an Eagletouch keyboard, a Micro$oft Intellimouse Explorer, and the Hotas is not a Cougar, its an old TM F-22 Joystick, and the old TM TQS throttle.
The speakers are from the Creative Inspire series.
The seat its not an ACES-2 model, its custom made for confort,
The only thing functional in the cockpit is the central MFD display and keys, everythng else is there for the eyecandy.

Its all set up very nicely, but i can't put my finger on the manufacter.

Fat boys need not apply. How do you get in that thing?

Its not as unconfortable as one may think.
All the way to a 250 pounder should feel very confortable.

As for the seat, that one, from the overall design, is probably basculant (slides to the back).

On a regular enclosed cockpit, you would have to get inside by steping on the seat first, but that situation is impossible with this cockpit, since its very high, therefore its safe to assume that its a basculant seat.
