Nice Clayman. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif I wish we had it in our magazine racks around here.

Good review too.

How's the PF review? These guys have some credit in my book, even though I've never even looked at their magazine (something to do with a guy named Galeb Thunder, or Calen Turder? I dunno).

<Edit> Hmm, that came out wrong, the reason I haven't been able to look at their magazine is due to its unavailability in my area, and the reason for their credit in my book is their attitude against Talen Gurber).

ZG77_Lignite ...The review was the best to date and covers every aspect of PF. Highly favorable and very well written.

They plan two future articles ... and since it was reviewed prior to the patch I image they will have a lot more to say. They thought the graphics took the series to a new level ... and this pre-patched.

I was very impressed since they mostly focus on flight sims. That they put so much into a review of a combat sim ... that they raved about the overall FM, devotion to detail and immersion of the series and PF ... well, I have to take my hat off to them.

I've been able to get a hold of the last 3 issues ... I like it a lot. Other than those 3 and seeing it on a rack once in a while ... I wasn't aware they had an "opinion" on the Tonto Gurbler dude.

Thanks for the info ... I like them a lot more already.

Y'know, it's about time I subscribe to this mag instead of hunting for it all the time...never seem to find it in the same place twice. It really is fantastic.

BTW, what's it say about the CH Throttle Quadrant??

Flatspin ... positive review. Built well (as is all CH stuff), felt right, handled 4 engines well but they said it was best with twins. They had a little sensitivity problem due to incorrect assignments ... but easily fixed it. All in all they said it had a big impact on realism ... and ain't that what it's all about. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Ridge_Runner_5 ... I'm photoshopping the pix now ... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Their coverage of the International Flight Sim Convention in the Sept issues was really good too.

The most reliable place I've found it is at Barnes & Noble. I didn't even know it existed until my young'n bought me a copy there off the clearance rack for a quarter. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

For those who can't find it locally, go here: http://www.computerpilot.com/

They also post several of their articles as free download PDF files.

You must live in a VERY populated city in Spain to get that kind of specialized stuff in English...

My local press shop just sells Spanish magazines, and just the run-of-the-mill ones, three or four magazines devoted to civil aviation and modern warfare. Since 80% of aircraft literature is in English, I just miss everything. I'm glad I can get some Osprey books, because of a sensitive bookshop that is near my job, but that's all....
