Is there any chance that we can get the bombsite corrected on the B-25 in the future? Right now bombs land a good half inch or so below the cross on the site. I have tested this and I am pretty confident that it isn't human error as I can bomb much more accurately in the HE-111s.

So whats the word on maybe getting a fix in the future?

You can place all your bombs with just only half an inch tolerance?

Pretty good would I say http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

You have eyes like an eagle to see half an inch in your sight, eh?

I think he means half an inch on the screen.

Sounds like confusion over IAS and TAS. And remember the B25's bomb sight is calibrated in imperial measure. MPH not KPH.

I get my best results with the G4M1.

No, I understand the difference and IAS and TAS, and I compensate, but for some reason the bombs land a good inch or so down on my crosshairs, the only reason I mentioned it is because I remembered reading an old old thread that said there was a bug with the B-25 bombsite.

Dunno if I suck and they fixed it thought http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif I will practice some more tonight and check.

There was a rumour the bombsight needed to aircraft speed to be entered in Knots, not in MPH.

Never cared much about that, because I compensate for any error in spped by keeping the target centered in the crosshairs.

I do not fly the B-25 often (prefer Betty and Heinkel) but my bomb runs were always decent with this method.

the bombs have different ballastics, so they fall different, its best to aim for the middle of the target..
