Anyone know if the XBLive or MP setup will give the ability for one hit kills? I'm presuming the SP setup means you can get hit many* times before you die.

They can't remove the sneaky one shot ability...... please!

Never played the variants, never even played RvS online.

I dont remember seeing the little "health" bar on the on-line screens, might be different..

I s'pose a bit of HE would take someone down!

Hopefully the damageometer won't be much different from GR. sometimes one round(if its a good shot) but usually a couple.

can you do headshots with the new reticule or does it just score a hit anywhere in the circle?

The way the game is made up now is whoever shoots first kills first. Unlike other games where you can shoot someone 100 times, they'll turn around, shoot you once and your dead.


Im glad they made it where you can be shot more, makes it so NPCs don't do cheapshots, like you see in the PC versions.

Im with you on the hunt for 1 shot kills mate. Killhouse 2 story pistols only was way to much fun on rogue spear to miss out on (you just had to remember to stick the gun in there face first, although the crouched 'jewels' kills always caused a few laughs)

I hope it has some version of the classic "bunkers" too.

yeah...i love 1 shot kills...thats what made the original R6 such a stand out title...plus the lack of spawns...made it diff from games like quake and unreal

i have had plenty of 1 shot kills on the AI on the demo though

we will have to wait for MP to know for sure how it will work though

*sigh*


too bad this demo wasnt on Live...even just for 1 map /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

Even if you can get hit more then once its not like Unreal and doom.

I hope they keep the health bars in the online version. Nothing like hunting wounded dogs.

When you get hit in the demo does it affect your reticule convergance speed ... like in GR? i.e do you get the sense of being wounded rather than just having a bar of health knocked off.

well, you know as i've posted what happens with tear gas, well, ding flinches every time he gets hit, and after a while i noticed his movements were slower and not as smooth as when he had full health. also, you can see the blood spattered on all of ur partners skin and uniforms where they get hit
