But you should give Slipknot (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ykpRruJzClg) a try http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/winky.gif

Big fan of all types of music. Primarily a Rock n Roll and Metal guy though..

My all time favorite band is Metallica. I'm also a big fan of Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Fear Factory, Slayer.

Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band is also very high on my list of goodies. I like a lot of the older (well for my generation.. early 80's) stuff. There really isn't a lot of Bands that have come out recently that have the same longevity IMO. Not that they aren't good, but I just can't picture them being around, or getting any radio play in 20 years.

I just can't get into the super-heavy death metal... I have to be able to at least sometimes understand what the lyrics are (sorry gurgling and growling into the mike for 3 minutes doesn't count...)

I like Country, Bluegrass, and Folk music as well.

Don't do well with hard-core "Gangsta/Dirty South" Rap, nor too much Punk.. Nothing in those genres really calls out to me.

-edit.. Have to throw in a good word for Clutch too..

Gotta love Tom petty
Evanescence
Korn

Sublime
some jazz, some bluegrass, folk, some rap, traditional japanese music, etc.

Fark yeah http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/metal.gif Raining Blood is one of the best metal songs ever.

Most listened to music on my computer:
Opeth
Slayer
Iron Maiden
Dethklok
RATM
Arch Enemy
The Living End

A while ago lost my entire collection though, and I haven't managed to get a lot of it back. That's still the best music I have ^.

As for the guy in the article, well he's just a holier-than-thou w@nker with a superiority complex.

Whenever I am harrassing the skies of my house network server I like to annoy my housemates with either Bob Dylan (80% of the time) Jimi (15% of the time) or Amy Winehouse (5% of the time). Though admittedly Amy Winehouse's spot is for the artist of the month which she so happens to be this year so far http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I liked that. I especially enjoyed the creative visuals.
