Well, let's see. Like any decent u-boat movie it starts with three men in a bathroom wallowing around in their own vomit... and it gets even better from there. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I can remember attending the German language movies here in Chicago back in the early 60's,all of the films were light hearted comedies.I asked my German friend why there were no war movies and he said they were not allowed. So,fast forward 40 years and we have German war movies but it seems there must be an anti-war message.Maybe someday they will make a movie of U-47 and Gunter Prien with a happy ending.

Now after playing SH3 and studing the Battle in the Atlantic, I have some more knowledge. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

The sixth sence was pretty good after it finnished. I mean, as a director how do you attack the subject without being rediculous, how do you make a movie without it being "Poltergiest 8" http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif, it was hanging there in the balance the entire movie but the way it was knitted together in the end I give it a "+". Usually I agree copletely with NY times and whn necessary I write user reviews there, but only after a professional schooled critic makes a start, and if it is in the wrong direction I jump in, only I wound no review of six sence .... I feel they been on the lazy side lately, no review of "the Island" either ....

I think Six Sence was hi risk but decently knitted together in the end so that you have to rethink the movie again after it ended and see it in another light .... pretty cool movie after all

EDIT -----

remember now I founf I review of the island, and I agree, nice subject to attack, but the way the movie plays out it is something like Rollercoaster Starwars 9 Terminator on motorocylcle 15 kinda movie. In my opinion it starts nice but turns into some kind of hollywood orgie.

But hey, there are people and there are people. For example, after giving a tip of Das Boot to a guy and when I met him again he said he didn't like the film and only watched 5 minutes of it (being me my brain when into high gear and trying to process that information, how can you dislike Das Boot in 5 minutes, aha so he does not like drunk german and hoars and **** and puke and ...... well..... **** .... has he ever been in the army or socialized with the lower part of society or with alcoholics ..... **** ..... but then I think of some of the psychology and so he might be personality type 9 so ....... well he said he liked the movie "Face Off" so I guess he was watching "The Island" I gave him, some people just want "Entertainment & sensations" .... they don't want to be remained about what did happen or what is going on i the world, for a few seconds they just want to have fun. One needs to keep that into perspective too since we all just live once ..... *So I just remember to give him a tip of movies that are like "Face Off" http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif I am sure now he does not like ghosts .....

blastomatic1759: no problem, im not suprised it got spoiled especially on this forum.

the amazing thing about sixth sense is he doesnt say a word to anyone (except the kid) through the whole film and you only notice at the end, i dont know of anyone who figured that 1 out before the end

He unwillingly or unknowlingly follows the rules for Gs, u who seens the movie knows.
I got a wakeup call when he as a professional psychologist did not oppose/dispute the way a colleague treated "his client" at the hostpital. Then I woke up and thought .... something is wierd ... but it wasn't until then I woke up. But not until the end did I get the "aha" experience, and tht is because they cheated us out of some key facts ...... no man can think right if his brain is not fed all the facts. You can not be smart if you didn't have the info to begin with. So they played a trick on us. Still, cool movie ....
