As a mission builder there is a need for more vehiles like

Ammo dumps and trucks
Wespe, hummel, any moving and firing (H) class artillery.
Observation vehiles
Towed artillery that is being moved.
Troop carrying vehicles with troops.
Bridging equipment.
Wagons "Don't care about the horses its only a game"

With what is available now a mission builder is hard put to having a moving and functioning ground war .

Since the game was built on ground attack the soft targets need to be expended.

Also there is a need for at least having indirect fire made available.

Had not thought of them.
Was thinking of vehicles that carry them.

Pontoon Brigdes with weight limits.
Sounds Good

I went pretty crazy designing a mission in which there were all sorts of cool things on the ground, placed just so, and as realistically as I could manage.

Couldn't notice anything but a bunch of stuff on the ground as I flew by http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Personally I like getting into the very small details like this, but in the long run, I think that 9 times out of 10, the only person who really notices their absence is the mission maker

How about a new static unit that shoots.

A group of brown holes in a loose line with infantry heads and shoulders sticking up. It'd shoot 1 30 cal MG.

You'd use this foxholed infantry to represent front lines. CAS missions could be designed to soften it up.

Yes, and AA Allies units, and more ships.

The 1 .30 cal is to represent small arms fire from all the troops.

I think most ww2 armies used .30 cals as the standard rifle (US, UK, Germany, CCCP, Japan). I guess the Italians used .25 caliber, but it's close enough considering that it's a place holder for a group of guys ;-)
