would be nice if those games had a kind of simulation option, because the ground details are really good..but the arcade gameplay isnt really challenging ( but still really funny )

The Saddest Story of modern times was Wings of War (WoW) which was a pure arcade WW1 shooter that had the most intricate detailed WW1 aircraft you NEVER thought existed, including multi engine bombers and rare recon aircraft I never heard of before. The terrain was decades beyond FB and LOMAC, with bird flocks and fighting troops on the ground.

Rumour says that WoW -- made in Czech or around there -- started as a deep and serious WW1 sim, but the Publisher forced pure Arcade, including console version.
