iv notced sence 4.04 that the 38 seems to lose controles VERY easy even from minor hit;s. i used to fly her alot pre 4.05 and never had half the trouble with damnge iv been haveing sence 4.05. seems 90% of the time even a single 20mm or even a hanfull of HMG hits will knock out at least one controle serfice. is there any RL data or stories to match up with this? i mean was the 38 known as such a fragile fighter?

Typical for oleg-fantasy US planes. All the drabacks (weight, etc) are emphasized, while the positives are downplayed.

I think the biggest problem being that the control cables run through both tails. In real life this gave it redundant controls. In the game it makes it dualy vulnerable as the game engine doesn't understand redundant controls.

Or so I'm told.
