Yes, silly question, but i had to ask it. Is there any rain or thunderstorms in PF? After 1 completed campaigns there haven´t been single raindrop or ligtning in my pacific war. I loved those "bad weather missions" in IL2 but seems to me that those eastern front pilots had more courage to fly in poor conditions http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif And don´t start with that "throw bucket of water to your monitor" thing. Allready tried that, the effect wasn´t what i was looking for...

U.S. Navy tried to avoid flight ops in foul weather.

Wow!! Two complete campaigns without ANY inclement weather AT ALL?? And besides the fact that the navy tried to avoid foul weather doesn't mean it didn't carry out any missions in the foul weather. And the Marines??
So is the weather something that can only be done thru the construction of a custom miission??

Whoops, i got typo in my first post i mean 1 completed campaings, went trough Midway and Cuadalcanal as a marine pilot, an no bad weather at all, Now i´m flying RAAF Beaufighter campaign and still no storms in my sight. I think a decent rainfall here and there would be a nice touch.

Yes I believe that random weather should be included before all of these "Japanese saviour" planes. As I haven't completed a full campaign or even half yet I am surprised to hear that there isn't any. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif

The weather effects haven't gone anywhere guys. Custom missions that I'm making feature bad weather in some instances. So its definately there....

Maybe an item in the DGEN is causing the number of occurances of bad weather to be low.

the new DCG available here http://www.lowengrin.com/news.php
tends to randomize the weather alot better. Since using it I've seen just about everything PF has to offer in the ways of weather. It also varies the flight times a bit more. Before this, all my missions were around 10am..now I'm flying some at the crack of dawn, and some are coming home well after taps...
