this is some pics, from the uss intrepid museum
in manhattan nyc usa i visited ,its only museum in the world you can visit and go on a aircraft carrier, cold war submarine uss growler,..and loads of aircraft, old and new ,from sr71 blackbird on deck to ww2 navy planes below deck,..awesome stuff

these pics are from the uss growler sub,
35+ years ago this boat was top secret.she was
built for the northern atlantic cold war
patrols ..and carried the famous regulus cruise
nuclear warhead missile, which was launched
while the sub was surfaced on a take off rack
angled up, the cruise missile was stowed forward
off the conning tower, she could carry 2 off these weapons in the stow.. this was the first
series of boat class to patrol the cold war routes, after her short service came polaris
boats, which could fire under the water...

the regulus Cruise Missile turbojet was a V1 whit nuclear head projet.....
