After reading various books I was wondering why we do not have the following option regarding the Doras loadout. Is there no way that they would have included a 20mm 0r 30mm firing through the hub of the prop???

What do you guys think

Right...the FW190D that we have is a D-9 ("Dora Nine"). The D-9s with I don't think any exceptions were armed with the 2 heavy machine guns and 2 MG151/20 20mm cannons that we've got in the game. Rare limited production prototypes like the D-11 and D-13 (from what I can remember).

Only those models had the hub firing 30mm amongst other modifications. Very rare. We wanted to have one of these modeled but it never happened.

Oleg has modelled it quite correctly as no operational -9 ever carried a hub mounted cannon.

The Ta-152 series Focke-Wulfs have the 30mm nose cannon in the sim.

Some later Dora's, the D-12 and D-13 had cannon firing through the hub, but, not the D-9 which we have in the sim.

With the way it is in this patch, I think you might be getting a little too greedy.

I owuldnt say the TA152 is anything like the Dora, I just took it for a spin and tried dogfighting in it, LOL I ended up in a spin on the first turn and crashed.

At least in the Dora you can dogfight pretty well (better than any other FW anyway)
