i found this on wikipedia

im not going to spoiler it.. cause it might not even be real...

Assassin's Creed III begins in Britain during the colonial era. The storyline follows an assassin that is forced to leave Britain for America after assassinating a high-profile target in London. The majority of the game takes place in the New World, with some hints pointing to a storyline that has the main character travelling south, and events in the ruins of Maya civilization. Further details are not yet known.

I like the idea, but it cant be trusted. I presume it would be Victorian era, but its timeline aint mentioned at all. I must admit Id like to see this come true

it says it takes place in the colonial era.. which was the time where europe started to build settlements in america....

it does sound like it could be real info, and i also like the idea... but it just seems like its to early for any info on AC3

Oh Please!

I highly doubt Ubisoft would have already released the story/setting for AC3 already! They are still working on ACB Story but i guess it is possible!

But i doubt we can believe this, seeing as it is on Wikipedia and it could be just a fan who wants it to be set there, so he decided to put on wikipedia it was going to be!

I wouldn't mind that though because it sound pretty good, going to a few different countries. But i do hope it'll be more than those. I'd like Egypt or Japan too but with a different ancestor or something!

True or not, it sounds good http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

im pretty sure its going to have something to do with the shroud of turin setting the game in europe (not sure what time though sorry) which i thhink would make sense. the shroud was supposed to be a religious artifact and in one of the hieroglyphs in ac2 claimed that jesus used a piece of eden resembling a robe or cloth. and there are some legends claiming that the knights templar owned it at one point and around the point that they officially disbanded. so it makes sense that the first game would be about the early beginnings of the Templars the second was the Templar rise to power and the third would be the Templars going into hiding and working from the shadows.

O my god if they use Britain it will be dull we over here think our history is the greatest but it is the most dull to be honest. The Victorians especially. I am from Londond and i know it would not be a fun setting for an AC game its just no were near as exciting as Italy is or Egypt would be or Greece would be or at least another 30 plaqces i can think of before we should resort to Britain depending how it loooked i would ebate whether or not to get this game if they choose my home country.
