Hey all, I know that someone is currently modeling the string-bag and that there was a recent update on it(04/01/05) and it looks great so far. But does anyone know if there is a pit planned to make it flyable? Also any new info on the dev. of it would be greatly appreciated! THX!

Sorry I'm not sure friend.

One thing I always tried to pay attention to is development updates and aircraft were getting.

There was an old site that listed like 40+ third party aircraft that were being developed. Mind you this is OLD, like prior to AEP was the last time it was updated. Many of the aircraft on there are already included in the game and sadly some are all but dead, others were rejected because of their size or complexity.

As for your question I don't remember if the String bag was one of them. Mind you the pictures were small and I just scrolled through it quickly so I couldn't missed it. But besides that site I haven't seen any (possible?) mention of the Swordfish.

I agree, although overlooked it played a big role in the early war scenario and it even flew off of carriers!

Oops correction, someone is modeling it you say? Sweet action.

well, external is nearing completion thanks to dave who is modeling it http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

with help from pippz and jutocsa, erbriac and a little from harti it will hopefully be upto olegs standards.

we do external, then if time cockpit.

if dave splits time with cockpit, we risk not having it at all http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

Ah! Commando and Battle comics. Such wonderful campy/imperialist fun. Each one cunningly made to last for exactly one visit to the loo.

Love 'em.
